Aaron Owner Operator Coach
@Tribe_Fitness_804
My name is Aaron and along with being the owner of Tribe Fitness I am also a trainer here . I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a Functional Kettle Bell Certified Trainer, I have attended the Power Athlete Course, Performance Enhancement Coach, and I a hold both a Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science with a degree in Health Sciences.
My training is rooted in movement for daily life, longevity, for now and beyond. I integrate athletic based movements for ALL humans, and I believe we are all human athletes. I employ functional training via the use of free weights, kettle bells , bands, wall balls, boxes, slam balls, and a variety of other pieces of equipment designed to challenge primal movements the body’s CNS mapping, and proprioceptive learning . Movements that do not isolate , but engage a multitude of muscles.
I have a passion for coaching , teaching , and mentoring but most importantly showing others that they are strong ,capable, and powerful.
I have sought to work with passionate, driven personal trainers with a mindset towards holistic wellness. I seek out trainers who embody Tribes values and live our mission. I believe in growing meaningful relationships in a setting that fosters personal growth, and values intimate client relationships.
I believe that although we all value and place emphasis on functional fitness, we each have a unique approach. We have built a place where every trainer and every client benefits from the collective knowledge that is shared among all of us.
Coach Kimber
@CoachKimber.RVA
My name is Kimber! As a NASM certified trainer, I've dedicated my career to helping people experience more freedom in their bodies.
Unlike many in this industry, I was un-athletic growing up. I was the intellectual, artistic type who felt repelled by the aggressive, image-obsessed culture of traditional fitness. Still a victim of societal beauty standards, however, I began running in pursuit of smallness as a college freshman. This was my foray into the fitness realm, and though it began as a way to beat my body into submission, I discovered for the first time that I felt better with exercise in my life.
It wasn’t until after college that I was introduced to strength training through a friend. The rapidity of my transformation was mind-boggling to me. Food stopped being the enemy, my confidence skyrocketed, and life simply became physically EASIER. This revelation catapulted me into a passionate drive to keep learning , which nearly a decade later led to a career that I love and could never have expected.
I want everyone to experience the gifts of empowerment and confidence that this journey has given me. Whether you're dealing with chronic discomfort or simply looking to improve your overall fitness, I'm here to guide you.
Coach Kendra
@newbeginningsfitness_kg
My name is Kendra and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Coach with experience in Macro Nutrition and Healthy Steps Nutrition.
I recently moved to Midlothian, VA with my husband and son. I spent a majority of my childhood in Ashburn, Virginia where my passion for health, fitness, and movement was influenced early on by my father, who was my PE teacher for a time. His dedication to physical education sparked my own love for health and fitness, which I carried with me through my sports journey—especially soccer. That passion carried me through college where I played soccer and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Bridgewater College, followed by a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from James Madison University.
With 15 years of teaching Health and PE, I’m committed to promoting the power of movement.
I am driven by the belief that physical activity isn’t just about fitness and staying fit—it’s about fostering confidence, strength, and long-term well-being and overall health. My goal is to help others realize the power of movement and embrace this mindset to create a healthier, balanced and fulfilling life.
Coach Mallory DPT
@restorehealthwellnesspt
Dr. Mallory was born and raised in Chesterfield County, playing soccer as a young child and adolescent. Throughout her athletics and injuries, Dr. Mallory was exposed to physical therapy and fell in love with the profession. Graduating from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) in 2010, she then moved to Denver, Colorado for medical school. She graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 and worked in outpatient and acute physical therapy settings.
Despite enjoying those settings, Dr. Mallory longed for more autonomy and the chance to make more meaningful relationships with her clients. The Covid-19 pandemic provided the perfect opportunity to provide high quality care to her community in a more convenient and personalized way.
Dr. Mallory's interests are orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, prenatal and postpartum external women's health, and corrective exercise. Her goal is to be your primary care choice for musculoskeletal injury.
When she's not busy being Dr. Mallory, she's spending time with her 2 young sons and husband by a cozy bonfire at night, hanging out at the beach or pool, or reading a book. She loves participating in outdoor activities and pending HER completion of rehab, she wishes to return to playing soccer.
Dr. Mallory is excited to meet you and help you return to your full function and desired activities.
